The hackers targeted the producers, technicians, and photographers in Grande’s professional circle as a backdoor into her vault, stealing photos, video footage, and dozens of unreleased tracks to sell on the dark web. Grande’s legal team claims these breaches caused substantial harm and violated her privacy, but the timing of this filing remains pure perfection.
The lawsuit arrives right as Grande prepares to drop her eighth studio album, Petal, this Friday ahead of her UK tour. During a 2024 interview, Grande warned thieves that she would gladly see them in jail after her stolen song Fantasizewent viral.
