If you had “Pussycat Dolls reunion” on your 2026 nostalgia bingo card, it is time to collect your winnings. The group that taught an entire generation how to spell “Buttons” is officially back. Well, some of them are.
Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt have confirmed they are hitting the road for a massive 53 date world tour. They have even dropped a new track called Club Song, presumably because “Another Song About Latex” was already taken. It has been a long, messy road to get here, involving a global pandemic and a legal spat between Nicole and the group’s founder, Robin Antin, that was only settled late last year.
The Shrinking Girl Group
In 2005, the Dolls were a six piece powerhouse. Fast forward to 2026, and the line-up has been trimmed down like a high waisted pair of hot pants. Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar, and Melody Thornton are sitting this one out.
Kimberly Wyatt claims the group is known for an “ever changing line-up,” which is a very polite way of saying “some people didn’t get the memo or the contract they wanted.” Nicole, fresh off winning a Tony and an Olivier for Sunset Boulevard, says the timing was just perfect. Let’s be honest, though: without Nicole’s vocals, the tour would basically be a very high end aerobics class.
Latex, Legs, and Logistics
The PCD Forever tour kicks off in North America before landing in the UK and Ireland this September. They are hitting all the usual spots:
- The Big Cities: Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, and Dublin.
- The Grand Finale: A massive night at London’s O2 Arena on 13 October.
Ashley Roberts is particularly excited about “swinging her hips around in some latex,” which is good to know, as the group’s original burlesque roots are clearly still firmly intact. However, they insist they have “matured.” They are celebrating being women in their 40s who are “whole” and “self assured.” It is the same “I Don’t Need A Man” energy, just with better skincare routines and fewer roommates.
Why Now?
The music industry is a different beast these days. Nicole noted that instead of grinding out a full album with six hits, they can just drop a single and see if the internet likes it. They are also reissuing their old albums, PCD and Doll Domination, with unreleased tracks for those who really missed the 2000s.
Kimberly Wyatt gave a nod to the UK’s obsession with girl bands, citing the Spice Girls and Sugababes as the reason the Dolls always felt so at home here. They are ready to show “the kids” what they have been missing. Whether “the kids” actually want to see three women in their 40s doing high kicks in PVC remains to be seen, but you can bet the original fans will be there, trying to remember if they can still fit into their own 2005 era outfits.
Nicole is back where she started, the legal bills are paid, and the tour bus is warming up. Go get that money, girls.
