Kim Kardashian might just be stepping into the villain’s heels for Amazon MGM’s upcoming Bratz movie because, why not add a little extra drama to those already iconic dolls?

Amazon MGM snagged the rights after a bidding war, hoping to ride the wave of Barbie’s billion-dollar box office magic and turn Bratz into the next big toy-turned-blockbuster. Plot details? Still under wraps. Cast? Top secret (except for Kim’s possible villain cameo). Scriptwriters Charlie Polinger and Lucy McKendrick are cooking it up, while producers including Kardashian herself, and the usual Bratz power players, are ready to roll.

Since Barbie crushed it in 2023 with $1.44 billion, Hollywood’s been on a toy hunt — hot wheels, Barney, Polly Pocket, even Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots are all in the pipeline. Apparently, Bratz has sold over 200 million dolls and boasts the highest social media buzz among toy brands, so it’s got the followers — whether that turns into box office gold is anyone’s guess. Fun fact: Bratz tried the movie thing once before in 2005, but it didn’t exactly light up the charts.

As for Kim, she’s no stranger to the screen, from reality TV queen to horror show star and voice work in PAW Patrolmovies. Plus, she’s got a comedy and a drama lined up, proving she’s not just sitting around in loungewear (although Skims is pretty comfy).

Is this the best career move? Well, maybe not the villain role Kim was dreaming of, but hey, every paycheck counts, right?
